Delete your account

Deleting is permanent. Your account is hidden from TrainFury straight away, and your data is erased 7 days later. Until then you can bring it back by signing in; afterwards nothing can be recovered.

Two ways to delete

In the app — instant

Fastest, and it needs nothing from us.

Open TrainFury and go to:

Settings → Account → Delete account

You will be asked to confirm and to sign in again, then your account is scheduled for deletion immediately. You can also download a copy of your data from the same screen before you go.

By email — if you no longer have the app

Use this if you have already uninstalled TrainFury or cannot sign in.

Compose a new email from the email address your account uses.
Send it to contact@trainfury.com
Use the subject line Account Deletion Request.

We can only act on requests sent from the address registered to the account — it is the only way we can tell it is really you. We will confirm by email once the deletion is scheduled.

What is deleted

Every workout and set you have logged
Your body measurements and progress photos
Your routines, plans and training profile
Your profile, username, photo, followers and who you follow
Your sign-in record, so the account no longer exists

What we keep

We keep anonymised statistics about how the app's training features perform — things like how often a suggested weight was accepted. Before they are kept, these records are permanently detached from your account: there is no identifier, no way to link them back to you, and no way for us to reverse it. They are no longer personal data, and they help us keep improving the app for everyone else.

We also keep a minimal record that a deletion happened — the date, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address. We keep the hash rather than the address itself so that if you ever ask us to confirm your data was deleted, we can check without having kept your email. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

When	What happens
Immediately	Your account disappears from TrainFury. Other people stop seeing your profile, your workouts and any links you have shared. You are signed out.
Within 7 days	You can still change your mind. Signing back in restores your account and everything in it.
After 7 days	Your data and photo files are permanently erased from our servers. This cannot be undone by you or by us.

Want to keep your training history? Download it first, from Settings → Account → Download my data. You get a file containing every workout, measurement and photo. Once the 7 days are up it is gone for good.
