How to do it

  1. Hang from a pull-up bar with an overhand grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Keep your body straight and arms fully extended.
  2. Engage your core and initiate the movement by simultaneously pulling your body slightly upwards with your lats and raising your legs towards the bar.
  3. Keep your legs as straight as possible, or slightly bent if necessary, and continue to lift them until your toes touch the bar.
  4. Control the descent by slowly lowering your legs back to the starting position, allowing your body to return to a dead hang. Avoid swinging excessively.
