How to do it

  1. Step onto the stair machine, placing your feet firmly on the pedals.
  2. Grab the handrails for balance if needed, but try to minimize relying on them to maximize the workout intensity.
  3. Select your desired program or begin manually.
  4. Start climbing by pushing down on each step, alternating legs as if climbing actual stairs.
  5. Maintain an upright posture, keeping your core engaged and your gaze forward.
  6. Control your pace and resistance level throughout the workout.
  7. To finish, slow down your pace, bring the machine to a stop, and carefully step off.
