How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a light kettlebell by the horns (handle) with both hands, upside down (bell facing up) at chest height.
  2. Keeping your core tight and your body still, slowly begin to circle the kettlebell around your head.
  3. Bring the kettlebell behind your head, keeping it as close to your head as possible without touching it. Your elbows will naturally flare out.
  4. Continue the circular motion, bringing the kettlebell back to the front of your chest to complete one rep in one direction.
  5. After completing the desired number of reps in one direction, reverse the motion and circle the kettlebell in the opposite direction.
  6. Focus on keeping your head and torso still, allowing the movement to come primarily from your shoulders and upper back. Use a light weight to emphasize control and mobility.
