How to do it

  1. Wedge one end of a barbell into a landmine attachment or a corner of a wall/power rack.
  2. Load the other end of the barbell with the desired weight.
  3. Stand perpendicular to the barbell, grabbing the weighted end with one hand. Your feet should be shoulder-width apart, and you can adopt a staggered stance for more stability.
  4. Position the barbell end at your shoulder, with your elbow tucked in and palm facing inward (neutral grip). Brace your core and maintain a straight back.
  5. Press the barbell upwards and forwards in an arc, extending your arm fully without locking the elbow. Keep your core tight to prevent your torso from rotating.
  6. Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position at your shoulder, controlling the movement.
  7. Complete the desired number of repetitions before switching arms.
