How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight in front of you and your hands placed on the floor beside your hips, fingers pointing forward.
  2. Press down through your hands to lift your hips and legs off the floor.
  3. Engage your core strongly to keep your legs straight and parallel to the floor, forming an 'L' shape with your body.
  4. Keep your arms straight, shoulders depressed and retracted, and your chest open.
  5. Hold this position for the desired duration, maintaining tension throughout your body.
  6. Slowly lower yourself back down to the starting position.
