How to do it

  1. Start in a pushup position, then walk your feet closer to your hands while keeping your legs and back straight, lifting your hips high into an inverted 'V' shape. Your body should form a pike.
  2. Position your hands shoulder-width apart, fingers pointing forward or slightly outward. Ensure your head is in line with your spine, looking towards your feet.
  3. Bend your elbows and lower the top of your head towards the floor, aiming to bring the crown of your head directly in front of your hands.
  4. Keep your elbows tracking backward or slightly out, not flaring too wide.
  5. Push through your hands to extend your elbows and return to the starting pike position, fully engaging your shoulders and triceps at the top.
  6. Maintain core engagement throughout the movement to keep your hips elevated and back straight.
