How to do it

  1. Set up a suspension trainer (e.g., TRX) with the handles at a height that allows you to lean forward comfortably while holding them.
  2. Stand facing away from the anchor point, holding one handle in each hand with an overhand grip, palms facing each other.
  3. Lean forward, extending your arms straight in front of you, so your body is at an angle. The more acute the angle (the closer your feet are to the anchor point), the harder the exercise.
  4. Keep your body straight from head to heels, engaging your core and glutes.
  5. Slowly bend your elbows, allowing your body to lower as your hands move towards your head. Keep your elbows relatively high and pointing forward.
  6. Continue until your forearms are close to your biceps, feeling a stretch in your triceps.
  7. Forcefully extend your arms, pushing your body back to the starting position by contracting your triceps. Avoid shrugging your shoulders or letting your hips sag.
  8. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
